G-LEC take part in inter-active art

At the core of this year’s DMY International Design Festival 2008, from May 21 to May 25, was DMY Youngsters, which took place in the central exhibition hall of the Arena in Berlin-Treptow.

DMY Youngsters offers young designers the opportunity to display their talents and as part of the 2008 festival, G-LEC, in conjunction with corporate architects aPLEX and corporate identity designers PLEX, designed and built an inter-active three metre tunnel of G-LEC Phantom 60 frames. As well as offering visitors the opportunity to redesign the graphics in the tunnel, the easy to use interactive web site also enabled anyone, anywhere in the world, the same facility, the design going from web site to exhibit at the click of a mouse!

Although the festival has now finished, you can still see the idea behind the exhibit – go to www.megapixel-projekt.de.
